🚨 WHERE DID THE LEARJET WRECKAGE GO? A Mᴀssive Crater, Barely Recognizable Debris, and Wild Online Theories — Now Aviation Expert Dan Millican Explains What Really Happens in a High-Impact Crash!

An aviation expert has addressed a swathe of online conspiracy theories and speculation related to the Learjet plane crash that killed nine people in Florida, and answered the question of why there was no wreckage.

Everyone onboard the aircraft died when the private jet plunged from around 35,000ft and crashed beside a road in Palm Beach County on Sunday, November 1.

The aircraft was traveling from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas to North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas when it came down near Military Trail, close to Greenacres and Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate,

In a video shared on the Taking Off YouTube channel, aviation expert and pilot Dan Millican discussed the latest information about the disaster, responding to questions from viewers and addressing claims circulating online.

He said the amount of misinformation surrounding the crash had been particularly troubling, stressing that theories should not be presented as established facts.

“The aviation community is small and when we see our peers, our friends have something like this happen to them. We hear something like this happen, it hits us really hard,” he explained.

Millican said he had initially stepped away from the news because of how upsetting the tragedy was, but was shocked by some of the claims he encountered when he returned.

“There’s just a lot that’s wrong. And there’s also a lot of speculation, which is okay. Just don’t pᴀss it off as anything but a guess. Speculation isn’t fact,” he added.

One of the biggest questions surrounding the disaster is whether ice played a role in bringing down the aircraft, with Millican explaining that the pilots had reported encountering light clear ice at approximately 35,000ft, alongside moderate turbulence and precipitation.

A separate pilot weather report, filed at around 12:45PM, also recorded light clear icing at minus 46°C involving a Learjet 60 in the area.

However, he cautioned that the report did not include the aircraft’s registration number, meaning investigators cannot yet confirm whether it related to the crashed jet.

“Could be. Did the ice cause this? We don’t know yet. Reporting ice is one thing. Ice bringing down a jet is another,” he said.

The aircraft’s anti-icing equipment is likely to be an important part of the investigation, particularly the system designed to protect its tail.

Millican said he had spoken to a Learjet specialist who suggested that the aircraft’s radar was not particularly effective and that its tail anti-icing heater had a reputation for being unreliable.

According to the pilot’s theory, ice accumulating on the tail could have contributed to a stall when the crew attempted to climb, potentially leading to an overspeed condition and the tail breaking away.

The horizontal stabiliser, which is the smaller wing-like structure at the back of the aircraft, helps keep the plane’s nose level. If ice builds up on it, the stabiliser can stall and cause the nose to pitch sharply downwards, which is known as a tailplane stall.

There is also historical evidence that Learjet tail anti-icing systems have previously attracted safety concerns. In 1999, the FAA ordered a one-off inspection of anti-icing wiring on several Learjet models, including some Learjet 60 aircraft, following a malfunction on a Learjet 55 that caused severe buffeting.

Footage from a vehicle’s dashcam has prompted further speculation, with some viewers claiming the aircraft appeared to be missing its wings or horizontal stabiliser as it descended.

Millican said the images were difficult to interpret because the aircraft’s wings were similar in colour to the clouds behind it, pointing to one frame in which two wings appeared to be visible, while cautioning that unclear footage of a rapidly moving aircraft cannot establish exactly what happened.

The NTSB provided a further update during its press conference on Monday, November 2, revealing that investigators had found evidence suggesting the aircraft may have begun breaking apart before impact.

They were still working to confirm this, and the investigator in charge said teams were documenting debris discovered away from the main crash site, and when asked specifically about the tail, officials said they had not yet identified particular components.

Millican explained that investigators would use the position of individual pieces of wreckage to establish whether anything separated from the aircraft while it was still airborne.

Expert addresses conspiracies around wreckage

With many social media users quick to point out the fact that there appeared to be little in the way of visible wreckage, Millican responded comprehensively and consequently dismissed any conspiratorial claims.

“Where’s the wreckage? There’s no airplane, no wing. No. A plane coming down that hard and that fast basically vaporizes. There’s not going to be much left, not of any size that looks like an airplane,” Millican revealed.

According to Learjet-rated captain Dwight Ingram, who told CBS News: “A high-speed impact can shatter an aircraft into small fragments. Heavier parts like engine pieces, landing gear may still be there, but they’ll be digging for days. What’s left is in pieces, very small pieces, and investigators will collect every single one of them they can find.”

💔 STELLA PARTON BREAKS HER SILENCE — What She Said About Dolly’s Health Has Fans Looking Back

Dolly Parton’s Sister Breaks Silence What Really Happened - GMT - G1

Stella Parton was born May 4, 1949, the sixth of twelve children raised by Robert Lee and Avie Lee Parton in Sevierville, Tennessee — a household defined by noise, limited money, and almost no privacy, the kind of environment that produced strong, determined personalities.

Stella was one of them.

By seven, she was appearing alongside her older sister Dolly on a Knoxville television program; by her teens, she was writing her own songs, though marriage and motherhood pulled music to the margins of her life for a stretch.

The dream never fully disappeared.

In 1967, she recorded a gospel album with her mother and sisters, and later worked clubs in Washington, D.C., before founding her own record label in 1975 and releasing “I Want to Hold You in My Dreams Tonight,” which climbed to number nine on the country charts.

Long before any of that commercial success, Stella had already shown a willingness to take positions others avoided.

At 26, amid backlash against Australian singer Olivia Newton-John for winning recognition in country music, Stella recorded “Ode to Olivia” in her defense — a stand that offered her no career benefit and real risk of criticism, but one she took anyway simply because she believed staying silent was the wrong choice.

That instinct defined the rest of her career: hits like “The Danger of a Stranger” and “Steady as the Rain” (written by Dolly) built a genuine, independent following, including in the U.K., while Stella also worked in New York theater and spoke openly, often controversially, about poverty, domestic violence, and the treatment of women in the music industry.

She was named the Christian Country Music Association’s Female Vocalist of the Year in 2004.

Through all of it, she remained defined publicly, more often than not, as simply “Dolly’s little sister” — a label she spent five decades quietly proving didn’t tell the full story.

That same directness is why her comments in the fall of 2025 carried real weight.

Stella had never positioned herself as the family’s image manager or spokesperson; she was, by reputation, someone who believed difficult truths shouldn’t stay hidden indefinitely.

What she described wasn’t dramatic or accusatory — it was a portrait of a woman who had spent years prioritizing everyone else’s needs over her own.

The context mattered.

Carl Dean, Dolly’s husband of nearly sixty years, died in March 2025 at 82, after a long illness during which Dolly had devoted herself almost entirely to his care.

She later acknowledged that in the process, she’d neglected her own health significantly.

The loss reverberated through the whole extended family — the Partons had lost three brothers in the years surrounding this period, compounding grief that, for a family that had once crowded twelve children into a single small home, meant losing pieces of a shared childhood one after another.

Stella herself went seven years without releasing new music during this stretch, later describing the period simply as one shaped by sorrow, while still speaking about the importance of finding moments of laughter within it.

Looking back, one moment reads very differently in hindsight than it did at the time: in late September 2025, Dolly postponed her planned Las Vegas residency, citing health challenges — a rare cancellation for a performer whose six-decade career had included very few of them.

At the time, most fans treated it as a minor, temporary setback.

Stella’s later reflections suggested the signs had actually been building for some time, visible to family in ways the public smile made easy to miss.

That concern crystallized publicly not long after, when Dolly’s younger sister Frieda posted a simple request on Facebook asking fans to pray for Dolly.

What looked at first like an ordinary, well-meaning gesture spread rapidly, sparking widespread speculation about how serious Dolly’s condition actually was.

Dolly herself responded directly within days, appearing in a video from a Grand Ole Opry commercial shoot, insisting with her familiar humor that she wasn’t finished yet — the now widely remembered “I ain’t dead yet” moment that briefly quieted public concern.

In the months that followed, the pattern repeated: reassuring updates about kidney stones, dehydration, and treatment, paired with continued work on new projects, right up until Dolly Parton’s death on August 25, 2026, at 80.

Looking back across that full timeline — the postponed residency, the family’s public worry, Stella’s own account of a sister who consistently deprioritized her own wellbeing — it becomes easier to see what the people closest to Dolly understood well before the rest of the world did: that the warmth and resilience the public saw every time she appeared on camera came at a real, largely invisible cost.
